Book: Pirate City

On the 7th June 1692 one of the richest cities in the world, Port Royal, Jamaica, was swept into the sea as a result of an earthquake and tsunami. Port Royal was home to many wealthy merchants and pirates, including Captain Henry Morgan. Pirate City tells the story of a group of young people and their younger siblings, who are in search of a holiday adventure. The young people visit a deserted Bay, known for unearthing gold ingots (young Tocho is in search of the lost Taino Golden Sword). The group experience a tsunami, some discover romance and ultimately they discover the sunken Pirate City.
The author (Morel Benard) sets out to entertain and to educate young people and adults.
