There are so many stories waiting to be told, and Study Coach would like to encourage listeners of all ages to write stories. You will find some stories for young listeners, such as stories about life across the African continent. Listeners will learn about the cunning monkey, the docile lion and other animals living in the jungle. I believe that oral storytelling, relating knowledge about customs, traditions of Africa have been a way of life for people in Africa for centuries, and that African storytellers possessed great storytelling skills, no doubt today that many stories have been lost or significantly changed, but thankfully some stories are still with us today. It would be great to have a library of stories from east, west, north and south of Africa and stories from Asian continent. You will also find videos on Study Coach UK channel relating the story of the Elephant’s Child and Little Red Riding Hood.
Books for Work and Home
Time is precious so it is advisable to use our time efficiently, finding time to read can be a problem (Study Coach to the rescue). If you find it difficult to have sufficient spare time to read because you have a busy schedule then take the videos with you on your device while you travel to and from work. The story of Love in the Haystacks tells the tale of two young country lads seeking a love experience, there is rivalry, jealousy, but also brotherly love, as they both find a love interest of their own. You will find a second book by D. H. Lawrence in the playlist, and that is the story of Lady Chatterly’s Lover, you will find the complete work of episodes waiting for you. It is a raunchy story, when the book was first published it was deemed to be too scandalous and so it was banned. Hopefully it won’t make you blush in this modern age. Lady Chatterly’s Lover also provides an insight into the structure of social class (deference), money and politics.
New World Order 1984 Big Brother Audiobook
The book New World Order, 1984 Big Brother is a powerful piece of English literature. The story is set in London, England, it is a great way to learn about aspects of England and to learn English through stories. The concept of Newspeak is particularly interested, as old words are deleted from speech and new words introduced, the change of language/definitions, is happening in our world today. The story of 1984 is a brilliant work of fiction, or some may argue that it is a brilliant work of prediction of how society is on course to make major changes. The book 1984 was initially banned when it was first published, apparently it was too political. I understand that the idea of a New World Order is considered to be conspiracy theory, but when we analyse changes in our world today, the theory seems to be becoming factual.
