QUESTIONS and ANSWERS
Question: ’How can I learn English language?’
Answer: The short answer is that there are many ways to learn English language. There are different learning styles and since people are not all the same, each learner will need to discover the best style for their personal needs. For example, some people prefer to learn with others in an informal group, thereby sharing ideas. Other learners may prefer to work alone, and to meet online with a learning partner occasionally. Other learners may prefer to enrol on an English language course at a College, in order to receive formal face-to-face teaching within a classroom.
Question: ‘How can I learn English vocabulary?’
Answer: Listen to people having a conversation, and note words said that you are not familiar with; write the words in a notebook (do your best with the spelling), check with a dictionary later on, and when you have the opportunity use the word(s) in your own conversation. For example, if you listened to a debate and a speaker said the following: ‘Is that a rhetorical question’ then note the word ‘rhetorical’ and ensure to check the meaning to make sense of what was said. Add the word to your English vocabulary, revise the new word to keep in memory and use when appropriate.
