The Stories for Kids channel presented by Morel can be incorporated into your Homeschooling curriculum, if you are teaching children at home. If children are attending school then they can listen to the stories on their way to school and when at home, or when on vacation. Story time is usually a favourite time for most children, as they sit and learn and be entertained, at the end of the story parents can facilitate children to discuss the story. Parents can also make use of suggestions offered by Morel, to create learning tasks.

New material will also be incorporated. Rhymes can help to spice up life and so Morel will offer children some educational rhymes to help children with financial literacy. The rhymes will be embedded in storytelling, look out for them in due course.

Homeschooling and Storytelling 

If Homeschooling or planning to entertain children during the school holidays, then do make use of Stories for Kids with Morel. Stories can help to spark a child’s imagination and provide ideas for essay writing and creative writing. Children could write a summary of the story, they could critically analyse the plot and create their own ending.

Stories are a great way for parents and carers to engage with their children and for service workers to interact with youths.

YouTube does make access to the stories relatively easy for parents, the Youtube system ensures that stories uploaded are suitable for kids. Furthermore, the management for the channel takes great care to present only material that is suitable for a young audience. Parents and carers can relax with the knowledge that the stories are appropriate for young minds. Parents can assist and supervise children to access the stories from a computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone and other futuristic devices.

You will find some one-off stories as well as some episodes. Each episode of a story is usually presented in a 20/30 minute slot; a one-off story is usually of 15 minutes duration. If children find understanding the stories to be challenging or children encounter other difficulties, remember that you can pause the stories and re-listen, working at the child’s own pace.They say that sharing is caring, so please share the videos with others (parents) and promote storytelling.
