Team working skills are clearly important, since the nurse will be working with a multi-disciplinary team including doctors, psychologists, health care assistants, social workers. Organisational skills are essential, since managing time and workload are extremely important, ensuring that records are correctly documented. There are many other skills that you may wish to discuss in an essay when considering the role of the child nurse. Qualities such as sensitivity and empathy and being intuitive could also feature in your work.
